Quality Assurance Technician

We are currently seeking a dependable and motivated Quality Assurance Technician to join a team on second shift. This position plays a critical role in maintaining food safety and quality standards during production hours.

The 2nd Shift QA Technician is responsible for monitoring food safety and quality processes during production. After training, this individual will work independently with limited direct supervision, as the QA Manager primarily works 1st shift. Strong leadership skills, clear communication, and professionalism are essential for success in this role.

• Monitor and enforce food safety and quality standards on 2nd shift
• Communicate all food safety and quality issues promptly to the QA Manager and Shift Manager
• Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) policies
• Address and correct co-workers when necessary to maintain food safety and quality standards
• Complete required documentation accurately and legibly
• Perform data entry and maintain quality records
• Support production teams in maintaining a safe and compliant work environment

• Strong leadership skills and ability to work independently after training
• Comfortable providing corrective feedback to peers in a professional, non-confrontational manner
• General understanding of food safety principles (facility-specific training will be provided)
• Coachable and open to constructive feedback
  
  Basic computer skills with ability to perform data entry
• Good penmanship to ensure manual records are clear and legible

• Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
• Strong sense of accountability
• Team-oriented with the ability to maintain positive working relationships
