Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Wood Furniture Finisher to join their dynamic team. As a key contributor in the finishing department, you will support the production of high-quality, heirloom‑worthy pieces. The ideal candidate will demonstrate craftsmanship, attention to detail, and a passion for producing exceptional finishes, aligning seamlessly with the company's commitment to quality and excellence.

What's the Job?

• Apply a wide range of wood‑finishing techniques including bleaching, hand staining, sealing, glazing, shading, rubbing, top coating, and waxing.
• Perform both spray and hand‑applied finishing to achieve consistent color, texture, and quality.
• Follow detailed finish standards and engineering drawings to ensure precision and consistency.
• Maintain equipment, workspace cleanliness, and adhere to safety practices to promote a safe working environment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in finishing processes and quality standards.

What's Needed?

• 3–10+ years of professional wood‑finishing experience with a focus on quality craftsmanship required.
• Strong proficiency with spray stain, wipe stain, glaze, lacquer, shading, and topcoat applications.
• Ability to read and interpret written specifications and engineering drawings accurately.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, kneeling, and twisting.
