JOB TITLES:
Machine Operator, Inspector/Packer, Material Handler (Crane/Forklift/Combi Lift), Saw/Rattunde Operator, and Vertical Mills.

• Operation of a variety of machines ranging from overhead cranes to saws and forklifts.
• Loading/unloading materials onto/off of machines.
• Cutting and deburring tubing while ensuring a quality product.
• Ensuring equipment is in a safe operating condition.
• Reviewing the computerized work list for the equipment, locating the available material and prioritizing the orders to be processed.
• Communicating with other operators to formulate the run order of material.
• Performing any necessary set-up during shift.
• Completing daily Operational and Safety Checklists.

• High school education or equivalent is required, supplemented with technical college, vocational training, or coursework in machining.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• After training, must be able to operate a variety of industrial machines safely and efficiently.
• Ability to read and speak English is preferred.
• Mathematical skills equivalent to high school level including decimals, fractions and averages.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form with supervisors and co-workers.
• Regular attendance and punctuality are essential.

• Must be able to work a minimum of 8 hours per day on a regular basis; may require additional hours as required.
• Requires full range of body motion to include lifting, bending, twisting, kneeling, pushing, pulling, stooping, and squatting.
• Frequent walking and/or standing on a concrete floor or work platform while wearing steel-toed shoes.
• May walk up to two (2) miles per shift while performing essential duties.
• Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
• May require unassisted lifting of objects weighing 5–50 pounds (average 34–37 pounds).
• Utilizes a variety of hand positions such as turning and twisting.
• Dealing with production workers and supervisors under the pressure of production deadlines or emergency situations can be stressful.

Manufacturing area of the facility, exposure to loud and prolonged noise.

Exposure to hot temperatures of 80ºF to 110ºF in the summer due to the combination of the actual outside temperature and heat from internal processes.

Exposure to cold temperatures dependent on outside conditions.

PPE required: noise/hearing protection, safety glasses with side shields, safety sleeves, steel-toed work shoes.
