Shift: 2pm – 12am, Monday through Thursday, with Friday for as‑needed overtime.

Responsibilities
  • Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment.
  • Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction. Review variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.
  • Dismantle defective machines, tools, fixtures, and other equipment and install new or repaired parts.
  • Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
  • Install and repair electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.
  • Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.
  • Repair and maintain the physical structure of the establishment.
  • Install, program, or repair automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers.
  • Operate cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
  • Fabricate and repair counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.
  • Monitor and report (to supervisor) all lock‑out and tag‑out procedure violations.
  • Measure, mark and scribes material for machining.
  • Set up and operate bandsaw, grinder, drill, milling machine, table shaper, router, upright drills, edge sander, mitre saw, lathe, milling machine, and related woodworking equipment to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures.
A few things you’ll need:
  • Must be able to operate fork lifts and platform lifts where needed or required.
  • Must be able to work at heights up to 24’ when required.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); a minimum of 3 years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. We will consider applicants with an Industrial Maintenance Certificate, journeyman certificate, etc.

Language Skills

Ability to read and analyze professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations in English. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Ability to use basic geometry and trigonometry.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
