Role Description

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a full‑time, on‑site role based in Grand Rapids, MI. The Manufacturing Engineer will oversee and optimize manufacturing processes to drive efficiency and quality improvements. Key duties include analyzing current production processes, designing new systems or equipment, troubleshooting production issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The role will also involve collaborating with cross‑functional teams to implement cost‑saving measures and improve overall production flow.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Manufacturing Processes and Engineering techniques to optimize production workflows
  • Experience in Industrial Engineering, including process redesign and facility layout optimization
  • Knowledge of Mechanical Engineering principles for equipment design and performance improvement
  • Understanding of Sheet Metal Fabrication and related practices in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
  • Experience in metal assembly manufacturing or material handling systems is an advantage
