Quality Control Lab Technician — Grand Rapids, MI — 12-nights (2-2-3 schedule), 6pm-6:30am

• Perform chemical, physical, and visual testing using standard procedures

• Record test data and usage decisions in SAP

• Determine raw material adjustment amounts to meet specifications

• Collect and store retain samples as required

• Create non-conformance notifications and complete initial investigations

• Support customer complaint investigations through batch and sample review

• Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and housekeeping standards

• Prepare reagents and ensure readiness for scheduled production testing

• Junior college degree or higher in a chemistry-related field

• 3–5 years of laboratory experience

• Ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional teams

• Proficiency with Windows-based applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

• Ability to follow safety requirements and use appropriate PPE

• Experience in the chemical industry

• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel occasionally

• Familiarity with SAP data entry processes

• Experience collaborating in multinational environments

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location. The salary for this role is $26 - $29/hr.
