Job Title: Manufacturing Technician
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Employment Type: Temp (12+ Months)
Schedule: 9/80
Compensation: $33.5 - $47 / hour
Job Overview- Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro‑mechanical assembly operations, which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment.
- Comprehends and interprets technical specifications, terms, and documents.
- Determines and follows methods and sequences of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on assembly units.
- Assemble electronic sub‑assemblies and final assemblies.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and manufacturing work instructions.
- Perform all product build processes and work on any product directed by management to meet business needs.
- Manual and automated underfill, bonding, and staking.
- Touch‑up and application of conformal/Parylene coating.
- Participate in team meetings.
- Work on Windows‑based programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 8 years of electronics manufacturing experience or 4 years with an Associate's or similar 2‑year degree.
- Associate Degree.
- Experience with IPC A610 and JSTD 001.
- General knowledge of Lean or demand flow manufacturing practices.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interface with team members.
- Close attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced work environment.
- Demonstrated problem‑solving techniques.
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
