Weld and fabricate steel staircases, railings, and other structural and miscellaneous components for building projects on 2nd shift;
Read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings to understand job requirements and ensure components are built to specification;
Lay out materials accurately based on blueprints and project requirements to prepare for cutting, fitting, and welding;
Use a variety of shop equipment, including grinders, drills, taps, brakes, shears, and related tools, to cut, shape, and finish metal components;
Set up and work with fixtures for structural steel fabrication to maintain alignment, accuracy, and repeatability
