Press Operator​/General Labor 2nd Shift

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a Press Operator/ General Labor 2nd Shift to join their team. As a Press Operator/ General Labor 2nd Shift, you will be part of the Press Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Press Operator/ General Labor 2nd Shift

Location: Walker, MI

Pay Range: $18.50

Shift: 3:00pm - 1:10am, Monday through Thursday

• Operate and support the safe, quality, and efficient operation of a press and banding tool
• Maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance in accordance with schedule and policies
• Assist with changeovers, including cleanup and setup of carts, tables, and conveyors
• Load coils, ensuring picklist matches with coil tags, and build boxes and paper skids
• Operate forklift safely for loading and unloading boxes and pallets

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to read and write safety rules, production, and quality documentation
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods
• Comfort working in a loud environment with moving mechanical parts and proper PPE adherence
