About the Opportunity

We’re partnering with a rapidly growing, family‑owned precision machining company that produces tight‑tolerance components for commercial customers, including Fortune 500 clients. The team is AS9100 and ISO 13485 certified, and they’re adding a CNC Programmer / Process Engineer to own Swiss programming and drive process improvements on the floor.

This is a strong fit for someone who cares about cycle time, scrap reduction, repeatability, tooling strategy, and operator success—not just writing programs.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Program and set up Swiss CNC lathes using Esprit CAD/CAM
  • Optimize machining processes to improve efficiency, cycle times, and quality
  • Drive continuous improvement to reduce waste and increase output
  • Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings
  • Select tooling, speeds, and feeds for complex components
  • Troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and stabilize production
  • Train and support operators to improve consistency and performance
  • Provide hands‑on floor support when needed to keep production moving
What They’re Looking For
  • 2+ years programming Swiss‑style CNC lathes preferred
  • Esprit CAD/CAM proficiency
  • Strong knowledge of GD&T, blueprint reading, and machining fundamentals
  • Experience in aerospace/medical or other high‑precision environments (strong plus)
  • A hands‑on problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Comfortable training operators and being the go‑to on the floor
What You’ll Get
  • $75,000–$110,000 salary (based on experience)
  • Comprehensive benefits include:
    • Medical / Dental / Vision
    • 401(k)
    • PTO
  • Modern equipment and a shop that values process improvement
  • Real ownership to build, optimize, and improve machining processes
