Manufacturing Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of electronic or electro‑mechanical assembly operations, which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment.
• Comprehend and interpret technical specifications, terms, and documents.
• Determine and follow methods and sequences of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on assembly units.
• Assemble electronic sub‑assemblies and final assemblies.
• Read and understand engineering drawings as well as manufacturing work instructions.
• Perform all product build processes and work on any product directed by management to meet business needs.
• Conduct manual and automated underfill, bonding, and staking.
• Apply touch‑up and conformal/Parylene coating.
• Participate in team meetings.
• Work on Windows‑based programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Min 8 years of electronics manufacturing experience or 4 years with an Associate’s or similar 2‑year degree and experience with IPC A610 and JSTD 001.

• Associate Degree.
• General knowledge of Lean or demand‑flow manufacturing practices.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface with team members.
• Close attention to detail and quality.
• Ability to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced work environment.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving techniques.

• Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
