System Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Model Based System Engineer – SOW for a Contract position with a client located in Grand Rapids, MI
. We are looking for someone who is very good in Cameo, SysML and MBSE.

Pay Range: $90 - $100/hour W2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors)

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Populating a requirement trace matrix
• Writing requirement compliance statements
• Drafting portions of systems documentation
• Analyze Requirement PRs and draft resolutions
• Other assignments as needed

Skillsets and Experience

• Networking Device Experience
• Strong Cameo experience
  -specifically tracing in requirement database, modeling internal interfaces, creating diagrams based on a defined metamodel.
• Ability to read technical specifications and review against certification requirement documentation.
• Familiarity with avoinics principles (types of memory, common signals, profiles).
• Basic python programming experience is desired
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a dynamic environment.
• Able to self‑prioritize work assignments in a manner that maximizes team effectiveness and project efficiency
• Ability to execute against complex and dynamic objectives with minimal oversight

Resource Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Aerospace or Systems Engineering from an accredited College or University.
• Ability to work with cross functional teams in a classified environment
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
