CNC Grinder | Direct Hire| $22-27/hr. based on skills and experience| Grand Rapids, MI | 2 Shift options Available:

  • Night Shift: Sunday-Thursday 8:00pm-6:00am – 10 hours of OT each week
  • Day Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00am-4:00pm – 10 hours of OT each week

What's a typical day as Grinder Machinist? You'll be:

  • Setting up and operating CNC grinding machines with precision and efficiency
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
  • Performing routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Inspecting finished parts for quality and accuracy using precision measurement tools
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area
  • Collaborating with engineering and production teams to meet production goals
  • Adhering to all company safety standards and protocols

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent (technical/vocational training preferred)
  • Bring 2–5 years of experience operating CNC grinding equipment
  • Are skilled with measurement tools and quality control processes
  • Can read and interpret technical drawings
  • Possess excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Communicate effectively and enjoy collaborating in a team setting
