Sanitation Lead - 1st Shift

1st shift: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM / Monday thru Friday / Weekend work may be required (Must have Industrial Food Sanitation Experience)

Follows procedures and SSOPs to perform cleaning on production equipment to ensure safety, hygiene, and food safety. May record information to reflect sanitation activities and issues. Advises/updates supervisor/manager of progress and/or other non‑routine issues.

• Follows established procedures in the cleaning and sanitation of idle production equipment.
• Completes activities and verification for cleans and programs including MSS, PEM, and Non‑PEM.
• Advises supervisor when supplies need to be ordered.
• Familiarity and understanding of testing for chemical concentrations.
• Familiarity with chemicals and their purpose and uses.
• Familiarity with COP and CIP systems.
• Aerial lift operation.

• English Language Proficiency:
  Must be able to read, write, and speak English clearly to understand work instructions, safety guidelines, document issues, and communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Spanish is a plus.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; at least six months experience in a sanitation production environment preferred.
• Supervisory skills are desired.
• Must have some Microsoft Office skills.

• Multi‑shift production operations may be expansive, noisy, wet/humid and vary in temperature from refrigerated environment, ambient or warm in summer months depending on facility.
