Production Foreman

Position Description and Purpose

Founded in 1923 and headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Roskam Foods is a leading contract manufacturer that partners with world-renowned food brands, retailers, and food service providers to produce a myriad of frozen, refrigerated and shelf-stable products. We are a scaled, diversified operation with over 2 million square feet of manufacturing and 50 production lines across 8 facilities in the U.S. and Canada.

We currently have Foreman positions available at our locations throughout Grand Rapids.

• Train and coach employees
• Manage the production schedule
• Set up, operate, and tend to equipment that packages food products and process any rework that may result from equipment malfunction
• Clean and sterilize equipment and factory processing areas
• Inventory management software maintenance
• Record production data during quality checks
• Observe, receive, scan, data base entries and obtain information from all relevant sources

• High School diploma and/or equivalent experience
• Experience leading operations teams in a manufacturing plant
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Professionalism and a passion for leadership
• Experience with food service/manufacturing is a plus
