What You'll Do:- Remove finished goods and empty containers from workstations and transport them to designated areas to maintain organized and efficient work spaces.
- Manage and monitor Kanban cards or visual signals to trigger timely material replenishment and maintain inventory levels at workstations.
- Assist with workstation setup activities, material staging, and quick changeovers to support efficient production cycles and minimize downtime.
- Stage materials and assist with workstation changeovers to support efficient production transitions and minimize delays.
- Maintain a consistent pace to ensure workstations are never idle.
- Report material shortages, damaged materials, safety concerns, or production disruptions to appropriate personnel to ensure timely resolution.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, warehouse, or material handling
- 6+ months with MRP or ERP system experience
- 6+ months of stockroom experience managing inventory
- Working knowledge of production processes and manufacturing, with ability to understand how materials flow through the production environment.
- Understanding of the entire production, process and, specific, work cells.
- Organization:
Highly organized to manage, multiple, workflows, simultaneously. - Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated reliability, strong work ethic, and consistent attendance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check
- The associate will frequently be to stand and walk for long periods of time and to occasionally sit, bend, reach, or stoop to perform certain tasks.
- The associate will frequently be to make coordinated hand and finger movements to grasp and manipulate objects.
- The associate must frequently lift and move up to 75 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job may include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
