Massie Manufacturing, Inc., is looking for experienced CNC Machine Operators to join their welding, machining, and fabrication team in Baraga, Michigan
.

Turn raw material into precision parts that keep production moving. As a CNC Machine Operator at Massie Manufacturing, you operate CNC equipment to produce components for assemblies and weldments, carefully checking your work to ensure every part meets customer specifications. It is hands-on, detail-focused work where quality, efficiency, and getting it right matter every day—and where your skill makes you an essential part of the team.

  • Full-time position:
    Monday-Thursday 6am – 3:30pm, Friday 6am – 10am
What Your Day Looks Like:
  • Set up and operate CNC equipment to produce parts according to customer specifications.
  • Read blueprints and confirm measurements using precision measuring tools.
  • Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Keep your work area organized, clean, and safe.
  • Operate a forklift (after completing company-provided training).
  • Communicate production needs, equipment concerns, and quality issues to leadership.
  • Help in other production areas when needed.
What We Are Looking For :
  • 3 or more years of CNC equipment operating experience OR completion of a recognized manufacturing technology, machining, or similar technical program.
  • Ability to read and understand welding and fabrication blueprints.
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills.
  • A dependable work ethic and the motivation to keep work moving.
  • The ability to work with urgency without sacrificing safety or quality.
  • A commitment to following company policies and safe work practices.
