Production Shop Supervisor Details:

• Direct Hire position
• $60,000.00 to $65,000.00 / annually
• First Shift
• Lead a team of up to 9 employees
• Directly supervise multiple production activities and work assignments occurring simultaneously
• Schedule daily department activities and assign employees based on production needs
• Adjust labor assignments throughout the day based on changing priorities and workflow
• Monitor and manage departmental and individual employee productivity to meet labor efficiency and production goals
• Provide active, hands-on floor supervision, coaching, and employee accountability
• Hire and train personnel in company policies and departmental procedures
• Ensure products are completed and shipped on time and within quality specifications

Production Shop Supervisor

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably overseeing labor-intensive operations
• Experience directly managing hourly employees across multiple jobs, processes, or changing work assignments
• Experience managing production schedules, labor utilization, employee productivity, and workflow
• Ability to lead, coach, develop, and hold hourly production employees accountable for performance
• Strong understanding of quality standards, safety practices, and on-time production requirements
• Experience in job shop, manual assembly, fabrication, finishing, paint/powder coating, or other high-mix production environments is strongly preferred
