Advanced Swiss Lathe Specialist - Weekend Day Shift

We are seeking an experienced Swiss Lathe Specialist / CNC Machinist to join a growing precision manufacturing team. This position is ideal for a skilled machinist with hands‑on experience setting up and operating Swiss-style or mill‑turn CNC equipment in a high‑quality production environment.

The ideal candidate takes pride in producing precision components, understands GD&T and complex blueprints, and can independently set up, operate, inspect, and troubleshoot CNC machinery.

Weekend Day Shift (C-Shift)
Friday-Sunday | 5:00 AM-5:00 PM

• Set up, operate, and troubleshoot Swiss‑style and/or mill‑turn CNC machines.
• Produce precision components while maintaining quality and production requirements.
• Read and interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T documentation.
• Perform dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Make machine adjustments and troubleshoot issues to maintain efficient production.
• Verify finished components meet required specifications and tolerances.
• Monitor machining processes and identify potential quality or production issues.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection documentation.
• Keep equipment and work areas clean, organized, and production‑ready.
• Work closely with Quality, Engineering, and Production team members to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Follow established safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.

• Minimum 2 years of CNC machining or CNC operation experience.
• Hands‑on experience with Swiss‑style CNC and/or mill‑turn machinery strongly preferred.
• Experience setting up and operating high‑speed CNC equipment.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and dimensional tolerancing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to producing quality parts.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
• Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a 12‑hour shift.

Experience with in precision machining, aerospace, medical device, defense, automotive, agriculture, or other high‑tolerance manufacturing environments is highly valued.
