Maintenance Technician; 3rd Shift

Currently hiring an experienced Maintenance Technician for a manufacturing company in the Grand Rapids area. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for all maintenance throughout the facility. Great opportunity for upward mobility in a growing company.

• Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance on all machines and assembly equipment
• Assist with training others in proper machine operation
• Install industrial machinery and equipment (including electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic components)
• Accurately and completely document maintenance inspections, repairs, etc.
• Perform equipment checks daily, assisting in setup, start up, adjustments, and operation
• Perform shutdown and changeovers as needed
• Clean equipment and surrounding area as required, maintaining good housekeeping of entire plant
• Assist in cleanup activities related to machine / equipment moves
• Regular use of power and hand tools

• High School diploma or GED
• Food manufacturing experience (preferred)
• Experience with maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic compenents
• Ability to read blueprints, schematic diagrams, and other specification materials
• Comfortably lift up to 50 pounds
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly areas
• Familiarity of Microsoft Office Suite
• Math skills and knowledge

• 3rd Shift: 11pm - 7:30am
• Pay based on experience, starting at $26 per hour
