The Advanced Operations Engineer leads new product introduction (NPI) and process development efforts to ensure products are successfully transitioned from concept to full-scale production. This role serves as the technical interface between customers, program management, and manufacturing to ensure quality, cost, and deliveryobjectivesare achieved.

SMT Process & Equipment Operation

• Lead technical activities for new product introductions fromquotethrough production release
• Conduct Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
• Develop manufacturing process flows, work instructions, and tooling requirements
• Support first builds, pilot runs, and production ramp-up
• OptimizeSMT, through-hole, box build, and test processes
• Drive yield improvement, scrap reduction, and process capability
• Support root cause investigations and corrective actions
• Partner cross-functionally with Quality, Supply Chain, Program Management, and Production
• Interface with customers on technical and manufacturing topics

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering(Electrical, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related field)
• 5+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing
• Experience supporting NPI in a contract manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-610, J-STD-001)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience in regulated industries (Medical, Aerospace, Defense)
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
• Knowledge of ERP/MRP and MES systems
