Experienced CNC Machinist

Now Hiring Experienced CNC Machinists!
Join a growing manufacturing team in Grand Rapids, MI. We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists for multiple shifts with competitive pay based on experience.
Shift Options
- A Shift: Monday
- Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM - B Shift: Monday
- Thursday, 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM - C Shift: Friday
- Sunday, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Pay
$24.00 - $32.00 per hourBased on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor CNC machines to produce quality parts that meet customer specifications.
- Perform routine inspections using precision measuring instruments.
- Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings.
- Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
- Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures.
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
- Keep work areas clean and organized.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CNC machining or CNC machine operation experience.
- Experience with Gantry Style, Swiss Style, and/or Mill/Turn lathe operations preferred.
- Experience operating Murata and/or Star machinery is a plus.
- Working knowledge of high-speed manufacturing equipment and precision measuring tools, including calipers and micrometers.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality.
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift.
- Willingness to learn, accept coaching, and continuously improve.
