Administers anesthetic care to facilitate diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical procedures.
Responsibilities include:
** Licensure / Certification / Registration:**
- Nurse Anesthetist credential from the Michigan Board of Nursing (required before hire or transfer), verified by Credentialing Office.
- Registered Nurse credential from the Michigan Board of Nursing, verified by Credentialing Office.
- BLS Provider credential from the American Heart Association (AHA), obtained before hire or transfer, with ARC CPR accepted initially but renewal required as BLS from AHA.
- Nurse Anesthetist credential from the NBCRNA, verified by Credentialing Office.
- Advanced Life Support (AHA preferred).
