• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license (Michigan RN license preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in psychiatric nursing, mental health nursing, or behavioral health
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Current BLS certification (preferred)

• Assess patient care needs and develop individualized mental health care plans with the interdisciplinary team
• Provide and coordinate nursing care for individuals and groups in a psychiatric healthcare setting
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and aftercare needs
• Ensure a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff
• Document, report, and verify all necessary patient information according to established healthcare policies
• Monitor and report any potential risks to patient safety and well‑being
• Promote a recovery‑focused, patient‑centered approach within the psychiatric program
• Delegate and coordinate staff assignments, supporting staff development and clinical excellence
• Participate in ongoing quality improvement and process enhancement initiatives in mental health care
• Model professional excellence, integrity, and foster a positive work environment
