CNA, Certified Nursing Assistant Day Shift

Marvin and Betty Danto Health Care Center is looking for caring Certified Nursing Assistants to care for our fantastic residents and patients. This is a full‑time day position. Sign on bonus offered

• Record all entries on flow sheets, notes, charts, kiosks, etc., in an informative and descriptive manner.
• Report all changes in the resident's condition to the Charge/Staff Nurse as soon as practical.
• Receive the nursing report upon reporting on/off duty and maintain other records as directed.
• Perform and/or assist resident with all hygienic and grooming functions, including dental and mouth care, bathing, dressing, shaving, bowel, and bladder functions.
• Check residents routinely to assure that their personal care needs are being met per the plan of care.
• Provide residents with Social Interactions.
• Present a positive image of the facility to all customers, such as job applicants, families, and the community.
• Other duties as assigned.

Our candidates will possess the ability to effectively communicate with patients and other staff.

• State certified nursing assistant OR successful completion of State Approved Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program.
• Prior experience as nursing assistant preferred but not required.
