Corewell Health is seeking dedicated and skilled Medical/Surgical Registered Nurses to support its Blodgett Hospital campus, with potential floating to Butterworth Hospital. This role involves providing high-quality patient care across Med-Surg and step-down-level acuity, utilizing strong clinical judgment, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams. Staff in this position will manage complex patient needs, including telemetry monitoring, IV starts, ventilator support, and cardiac drips.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult Med-Surg patients in an acute care setting
- Utilize critical thinking and sound clinical judgment in all aspects of patient care
- Manage telemetry, ventilators, cardiac drips, and peritoneal dialysis as needed
- Coordinate care plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation using the facility’s charting system
- Uphold all federal, state, and facility-specific regulations and standards
- Support the workflow, goals, and daily operations of the Med-Surg unit
Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Schedules may include 36 hours per week, with every other weekend required.
Minimum Requirements- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan
- Current BLS certification
- Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
- Additional requirements:
TB screening, health certificate, onboarding compliance - Experience in Med-Surg and ICU-level skills preferred
- Must be comfortable with telemetry, IV starts, vents, and cardiac drips
Local Med-Surg RN Pay Rate: $50/hr Estimated Weekly Pay: 1800
Travel Med-Surg RN – 36 hrs Hourly Pay: $19.75/hr Meals: 560 Housing: 833 Estimated Weekly Pay: 2104
