• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ care needs and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Provide and coordinate high-quality nursing care for individuals and groups, working closely with physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families, support therapeutic milieu management, and promote continuity of care.
• Communicate effectively with patients’ families and significant others regarding discharge planning and aftercare needs.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff in both individual and group care settings.
• Accurately document, report, and verify clinical information in compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
• Monitor patient safety, identify potential risks, and promptly report concerns to physicians to prevent adverse outcomes.
