Opportunity Details
- Position Type: Contingent (0.0 FTE);
Inpatient consulting service focusing on goals of care and complex pain management - Current provider team: 3 Physicians and 6 Advanced Practice Professionals
- Schedule: As needed; minimum of 3-4 shifts per quarter
- Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan
- Specialty: Palliative Care
- Call Requirements: No call

Requirements
- Provider experience required
- Relevant clinical experience in palliative care, geriatric medicine, or critical care populations preferred
- APPs: Board certified in specialty prior to employment
- Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA license
- BLS certification (must be maintained)
Duties & Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
- Providing direct patient care
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Participating in teaching and mentoring
- Documenting in Epic EMR
- Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
- Supporting community health efforts
