- Medical Charting: Epic (Epic charting experience preferred)
- Patient Ratios: Average Day RN ratio 1:7, Night RN ratio 1:11 (with additional assistive staff)
- Estimated Weekly Salary: $2,120 - $2,230 per week
Job Requirements
- Active and unrestricted RN license in the U.S.
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience; psychiatric / behavioral health experience preferred
- Experience caring for pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations a plus
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health record preferred (Epic experience)
- Strong communication, assessment, documentation, and clinical judgment skills
- Training or experience in crisis intervention, de-escalation, and therapeutic milieu
- Provide direct psychiatric nursing care across the lifespan: pediatric, adult, and older adult patients
- Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and document reactions accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (psychiatrists, social workers, therapists) to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document all patient care clearly and timely in Epic
- Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment and ensure patient and staff safety
- Participate in crisis intervention, behavioral de-escalation, and emergency response as needed
- Support recovery-focused, trauma-informed care and patient-centered psychiatric nursing practices
