• Active, unrestricted RN license (required)
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience; psychiatric/behavioral health experience preferred
• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• Strong communication, clinical assessment, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary mental health treatment team

• Provide direct nursing care to psychiatric inpatients, including mental health assessments and safety monitoring
• Administer and monitor medications; document medication responses and adverse events
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Perform crisis intervention, de-escalation techniques, and therapeutic communication to maintain a safe, recovery-focused environment
• Monitor, record, and report patient progress, behaviors, and clinical changes in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and families on psychiatric conditions, medication management, and community resources

• Gain hands-on psychiatric nursing experience in an inpatient behavioral health setting
