Were seeking a passionate and driven Nurse Practitioner /Physician Assistant to join our regional Neonatal Intensive Care team in Grand Rapids and Muskegon, Michigan. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.
Opportunity Details
- Position Type: Full-time (1.0 FTE)
- Schedule: 25-hour or 8-hour shifts
- Location:Grand Rapids and Muskegon, Michigan
- Specialty: Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with neonatology fellowship training
- Provider Team: 4 Physicians and 11 APPs
- Clinical Care Team: RNs, RTs, MSW, OT, PT, SLP, ect.
- Hospital Info:
- Grand Rapids: 15-bed NICU Level III
- Muskegon: 8-bed Level II Special Care Nursery
- Call Requirements: No Call Required for APPs (physicians take call from home and are available 24/7)

Requirements
- Open to new graduates or experience
- APPs: Board certified in specialty prior to employment
- Active Michigan medical license
- DEA license
- ACLS/BLS certification (must be maintained)
Duties & Responsibilities
A typical day may include:
- Providing direct patient care
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Participating in teaching and mentoring
- Documenting in Epic EMR
- Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
- Supporting community health efforts
