Position: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist 36 hour Novi

Overview

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our anesthesia care team. The CRNA administers intravenous, inhalation, and regional anesthetics to render patients insensible to pain during surgical procedures, obstetrical deliveries, or other medical and dental procedures. May administer anesthesia to all ages and ASA classes of patients, including geriatrics and pediatrics. Provides airway management services as needed throughout the hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop tailored anesthesia care plans.
  • Administer anesthesia (general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care) in collaboration with surgeons and other healthcare providers.
  • Monitor patients during procedures and manage any anesthesia-related complications.
  • Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications
  • Current RN license and CRNA certification (NBCRNA).
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
  • Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Graduation from an accredited school of anesthesia.
  • Ability to work harmoniously in collaborative situations with anesthesiologists and other health care providers.
Certifications/Licenses Required

Maintains currency of required certifications and licenses as applicable.
