• Position: Registered Nurse
  - Psychiatric (Psych)
• Location: Grand Rapids
• Contract Length: 13 Weeks
• Shift: Night Shift
• Schedule: 3x12
• Experience Required: 2 Years
• Weekly Pay: $1800 to $1970

• Provide direct nursing care to patients with psychiatric and behavioral health conditions
• Conduct comprehensive mental health and physical assessments
• Monitor patient behavior, mood, and response to treatment plans
• Administer medications and monitor for therapeutic effects and adverse reactions
• Implement individualized care plans and therapeutic interventions
• Manage crisis situations, de-escalate behavioral incidents, and ensure patient safety
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Facilitate therapeutic communication and provide emotional support to patients and families
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, coping strategies, and discharge planning
• Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection prevention, and behavioral health care standards

• Active RN License in Michigan
• Minimum 2 years of recent Psychiatric nursing experience
• Current BLS Certification required
• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification preferred
• Experience working with adult, adolescent, or geriatric psychiatric populations preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and crisis intervention skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-stress situations
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and nursing documentation systems
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered behavioral healthcare
