The Resident Assistant provides direct, hands‑on support to residents by assisting with activities of daily living and promoting comfort, safety, and emotional well‑being. Working closely with nursing staff and the interdisciplinary care team, the Resident Assistant helps create a respectful, supportive environment that enhances each resident’s quality of life.

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring, and feeding
• Provide emotional support, companionship, and reassurance to residents
• Monitor and report changes in residents’ physical, cognitive, or emotional condition
• Encourage independence while ensuring resident safety and dignity
• Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive living environment
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated, high‑quality care

• Memory care experience 6 to 12 months
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Strong communication and observation skills

• Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time
