Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health / Mental Health

Location:
Grand Rapids, MI

Pay Range: $28.90 – $41.00/hour (Based on Experience)

Sign-On Bonus: $8,000 – $12,000

Shift Differentials:

• Weekend Days (7a–3p Sat/Sun): +$1.25/hr
• Evenings (3p–11p Mon–Thu): +$2.00/hr
• Evenings (3p–11p Fri–Sun): +$3.00/hr
• Nights (11p–7a Mon–Thu): +$4.00/hr
• Nights (11p–7a Fri–Sun): +$5.00/hr

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient care needs and develop individualized care plans
• Provide and coordinate nursing care in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes appropriately
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment and discharge planning
• Delegate and coordinate staff assignments as needed
• Document patient care accurately according to policies and procedures
• Support recovery-focused, compassionate behavioral health care

Qualifications:

• Required
  • Active Michigan RN License
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Ability to work in a behavioral health setting
• Preferred
  • BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
  • Psychiatric, Behavioral Health, or Emergency Department experience
  • Knowledge of psychiatric nursing principles
