About the Unit
Lemmen Holton Cancer Pavilion is located on the Medical Mile at 145 Michigan St. We treat cancer using the latest technologies and treatments including gene sequencing of tumors, targeted therapy and advanced oncology surgery techniques. We use a team approach to care, bringing together different areas of expertise that specialize in your particular type of cancer.
About Outpatient ClinicsCorewell Health operates over 300 outpatient clinics across Michigan, bringing a multitude of care options to the communities that we serve. There are over 40 different types of primary care and specialty practices, which allows those who work in these clinics the opportunity to learn and explore various interests or to specialize in one area.
Scope of workResponsible for providing quality education, follow-up and emotional support to the population and their families. Case manages the population throughout the inpatient and outpatient settings and measures outcomes to maximize continuity of care between the settings. Manages projects and programs related to clinical management, performing quality improvement activities to measure program processes and outcomes.
QualificationsRequired Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred Master's Degree Nursing 5 years of previous nursing or CDE clinical experience Required Prior teaching with patients of all ages Preferred LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - State of Michigan Upon Hire required CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required CRT-Oncology Certified Nurse - ONCC Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation 1 year Required CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 days Required or CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS) - AHA American Heart Association 120 days Required
