Delivers evidence-based nursing care in outpatient oncology, following the interprofessional plan of care and standards of practice. Collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure continuity and coordinate patient care. Acts as a patient and family advocate, ensuring privacy and confidentiality. Performs point of care testing as required and documents accurately and promptly. Develops individualized care plans based on assessments, expected outcomes, and patient education needs.
Manages patient discharge planning and facilitates smooth transitions. Delegates tasks appropriately to team members and engages in ongoing professional development and quality improvement activities.

Ensure accurate documentation; system action required for rate or schedule changes; invoicing via VNDLY platform; timely timesheet submission essential for payment.
- RN License (State of Michigan)
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC, within 90 days)
- Oncology Nursing Certification (ONCC Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy or Radiation Therapy certificate course)
- 1 Year Oncology Certification preferred
