Regulatory Registration & Raw Material Scientist

Clover Consulting has a direct client in Grand Rapids, MI in need of a Regulatory Registration and Raw Material Scientist. This is a 6 months contract to start, but can go 3 years. This is a Hybrid role requiring 4 days/week On-Site in Grand Rapids, MI. Below are the job details:

Role: Regulatory Registration and Raw Material Scientist

Term: 6++ months, up to 3 years

Rate: $35-37/hr W2

Location: HYBRID - 4 days/week on-site in Grand Rapids, MI

The Regulatory Affairs & Safety department functions as a progressive global group that ensures product compliance and safety in every step of the product lifecycle. Working with cross-functional teams we provide counsel on ingredient acceptability, formulation design, product labeling, claims, and registration requirements. In this role, you will be a key team member supporting regulatory assessment of raw materials for global acceptability as well as registration of Beauty and Homecare products in global markets. You will work in close partnership with Regulatory Analysts leading ITM projects and Supply Chain Sourcing Managers working on continuous supply of ingredients for products. You will have an opportunity to connect with regulatory partners in global markets and directly contribute to project execution.

• Excellent communication skills.
• Two to three years of work experience (Regulatory, Science, Health/Nutrition, International Affairs or related degree), ideally with use of analytical and scientific databases.
• Knowledge of Beauty and Homecare regulations.
• A solution-oriented mindset.
• Talent to communicate across cultures, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
• BS degree in Regulatory Science or a related sciences discipline
