Quality Assurance Technician – 1st Shift

Position:
Quality Assurance Technician at Oral Care Plant, Kentwood, MI.

Work Schedule:

Monday‑Friday; 8am‑4pm.

• Perform all required functions in either Incoming Inspection or Quality Assurance without oversight.
• Sampling, inspection, and disposition of manufactured materials in the QA area.
• Follow company SOPs and forms as written.
• Visually inspect parts and use measuring tools such as digital calipers, micrometers, and rulers.
• Document inspection results and determine material disposition.
• Process nonconforming materials: create records, segregate and label, communicate to stakeholders, assist with sampling/inspection for investigations.
• Support implementation of all GMP requirements and understand their impact on supported products and processes.
• Review production orders and release product; support operations by reviewing potential nonconforming product and providing guidance.
• Effectively navigate ambiguity for potentially nonconforming product and seek assistance when risk is high.

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral work instructions in English, including safety, quality, and GMP guidelines.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of ERP system (AX ERP system required, SAP a plus).
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
