PositionSummary
INSPECTS ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS, ASSEMBLIES, SUB‑ASSEMBLIES, COMPONENTS AND PARTS FOR DEFECTS AND CONFORMANCE TO SPECIFICATION.
Essential Job Functions- Examine outgoing units for physical defects and non‑conformance to specification
- Reject faulty assembly, part or component and record type and quantity of defects
- Record inspection data such as type, percent of defects, and rework required; calculate percentage of defective parts
- Prepare and submit DMR documentation
- Work with suppliers and customers to resolve issues in a timely manner
- Provide assistance to the production floor as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- High School diploma
- Basic understanding of Quality Standards (ISO/TS16949)
- IPC 610 Certification or ability to achieve within 6 months
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, process flow charts, and board layouts
- Problem resolution skills and root cause analysis
- Ability to use various measuring instruments effectively
- Ability to analyze and organize information into easily understood instructions
- Attention to detail
- Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn new skills and new technology
- Must be able to speak and understand English
- Ability to pass a pre‑employment drug screen
- Ability to pass a background investigation, including personal and professional financial history, nationwide criminal record search, credit check, and other relevant background information deemed necessary by WDC
- 3 years or more experience in a manufacturing environment
- Prior knowledge or experience working with a Native American Tribe
- Trade/Technical School degree desired
- Bending or turning movement over 75% of the time
- Ability to lift over 10 pounds
