Quality Technician (3rd Shift)

📍 Manufacturing Environment | 🕒 Night Shift | 💰 Competitive Pay + Shift Differential

Position Overview

The Quality Technician is responsible for performing laboratory testing and analysis on plastic pellet materials to ensure compliance with customer specifications. This role involves using lab equipment, preparing sample formulations, and supporting product quality through accurate testing and evaluation.

You will work under the direction of the Quality Manager in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory testing and quality analysis on plastic materials
  • Operate and maintain lab equipment safely and accurately
  • Interpret and follow technical specifications and work instructions
  • Troubleshoot testing or equipment issues impacting product quality
  • Communicate findings and elevate issues to leadership as needed
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in quality and efficiency
  • Maintain strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
  • Support and follow all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to work 3rd shift in an industrial/lab environment
  • Basic math and computer skills

Preferred:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree (science-related field preferred)
  • 1–2 years of laboratory, quality, or manufacturing experience
