CMM Operator; 3rd shift

Employees will operate the CMM using Metrolog X4 and Polyworks softwares . They will also ensure that CMM equipment is in working condition & properly calibrated. They will also complete dimensional inspections if needed.

1. Properly Setup and run CMM using Metro logic X4 Software

2. Will ensure programs are running properly and do minor program adjustments if needed

3. Perform maintenance of inspection equipment, including calibration

4. Monitor the controlled conditions of the CMM Room and maintain

5. Operate Faro/Romer Arm CMM using Polyworks Software

6. Performs all dimensional layouts and capability studies for all Production Part Approval Process submissions

7. Support special projects with various departments using the CMM

• Computer Literate
• English language skills (written and spoken)
• German language skills (written and spoken) preferred but not required
• Spanish language skills (written and spoken) preferred but not required

No direct Supervisory responsibility. During special projects CMM operator is expected to lead project and supervise any aspect of said project.

This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. In order to meet our customer’s demands this role may be required to perform work outside of business hours including weekends

Domestic and International occasional travel.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing Experience (Automotive Preferred)

• Bachelors‘ Degree from a College or University
• Minimum of one year of CMM operation or familiarity
