Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 annually
The Real Estate Portfolio Manager will oversee a large, active lease portfolio and play a key role in managing lease negotiations, renewals, terminations, and location exits. This position requires strong real estate knowledge, sound judgment, and the ability to handle difficult, high-stakes conversations with professionalism and empathy. The role is fully onsite and works closely with internal leadership, landlords, and external brokers.
Key ResponsibilitiesLease Negotiation & Portfolio Optimization
Lead lease negotiations, renewals, exits, and terminations.
Support portfolio downsizing and closures in a cost-effective and compliant manner.
Align real estate decisions with operational and financial objectives.
Landlord & Broker Relationship Management
Manage external brokers and third-party partners.
Build and maintain landlord relationships, including navigating disputes and sensitive negotiations.
Change Management & Difficult Stakeholder Conversations
Act as the primary point of contact during downsizing initiatives.
Handle complex and often challenging conversations with professionalism and empathy.
Prior experience in similar environments is strongly preferred.
Team Leadership & Oversight
Provide leadership to a small real estate team.
Oversee lease administration.
Required
Experience in real estate, lease management, or portfolio management with a focus on negotiations and renewals.
Understanding of commercial leasing and landlord relationships.
Prior leadership or management experience.
Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure or emotionally charged situations.
Preferred
Advanced Excel skills
Financial or analytical experience
Experience supporting large, multi-state portfolios
