Bakery Associate Part-Time

This independent role involves preparing, cooking, packaging, displaying, and stocking bakery products while ensuring the financial best interest of the store. The associate must meet guest‑experience, safety, and food‑safety guidelines and support other departments as needed.

• Prepare and produce bakery items according to the production planner.
• Package and label products per program plan.
• Merchandise items per flight plan and merchandising expectations.
• Stock backroom with bakery products, rotating and dating cases or buckets.
• Notify the Bakery Manager when supplies need ordering.
• Communicate tasks, recipes, weights, measures, and cleaning steps to other associates.
• Follow PPE, safety, food‑safety, cleaning, and guest‑experience guidelines.
• Assist other departmental tasks as needed to enhance customer experience.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing).
• Detail‑oriented and able to work independently.

• May be required to lift or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Must stand and walk for extended periods, and bend, stoop, twist, and turn frequently.
• Environment may have varied temperatures and exposure to outside weather.
• Typical retail store noise level is low to moderate.
• Travel requirements vary by assignment.
