About the RoleWe’re looking for a high-energy, autonomous Field Sales Specialist to lead our supply-side expansion in the Northeast. This is not a traditional "desk-bound" sales role; it is a "boots-on-the-ground" position for a road warrior who thrives on the shop floor.
You will be the face of Aucto and its AI powered technology which is modernizing industrial recommerce. Your primary mission is to visit machine shops and industrial facilities, demonstrating in real-time how our platform turns idle equipment into liquidity in under 30 seconds. You will bridge the gap between legacy industrial processes and our high-tech future, driving the massive supply acquisition required to hit our 2026 milestones.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Physical Market Mapping: Execute strategic visit schedules to machine shops and industrial hubs across the Northeast corridor.
- Product Onboarding: Demonstrate Aucto’s product and capabilities to prospective customers interested in selling on the Aucto marketplace.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key customers and influencers within the community.
- Pipeline Execution: Work directly with our customer success team to support customer onboarding and training.
- Market Intelligence: Serve as the eyes and ears of the executive team, reporting on equipment trends and seller pain points to help refine our product-market fit.
- Industrial Fluency: 5 to 7 years of experience in industrial sales, machinery rigging, or tool distribution. You know the difference between a CNC Mill and a Lathe and are comfortable in a loud shop environment.
- Tech-Forward Mindset: You are an early adopter of software technology and AI; you can troubleshoot app usage and demonstrate software value with ease.
- The "Road Warrior" DNA: You prefer the windshield to the office. You are disciplined in mapping routes and managing your time while traveling.
- Strong Communicator: You can build instant rapport with a shop foreman or a CEO, speaking their language and building trust through expertise.
- Self-Managed: You are capable of operating with minimal supervision in a remote territory while maintaining high activity levels.

- Virtual Onsite -About 2 hours, depending on how many questions you ask! We believe a key part of the interview process is you getting to know us and deciding whether we are a fit for you - to facilitate this we arrange 2 group interviews during this step with a mix of people from different departments.
