Sales Manager

We are conducting a confidential search for a Sales Manager with a client company of ours that is a global supplier to the automotive, aerospace, and defense markets. This is a direct-hire position and it is based around Muskegon, MI.

• Manage, lead and develop support team of Customer Service Representatives
• Manage day-to-day customer communication and ongoing relationships as it relates to current, new and upcoming orders
• Maintain/control inventory levels for finished goods as directed by management
• Track/expedite production orders
• Assist accounting with collections
• Perform order entry/understand guidelines of contract review
• Monitor sales metrics and provide sales forecast
• Perpetuate sales bookings through direct contact and technical liaison with customers
• Collecting Sales Forecast data from Sales team and reporting progress on a weekly basis to Sales Director
• Propose strategic sales activities based on customer demand and internal capacity
• Report on customer sales trends to Sales and senior leadership

• 3 to 10 years experience as a Sales Manager and/or Sr. Account Manager in a manufacturing environment
• Product experience with highly engineered components is a plus
