Northern Michigan (field-based) with occasional in-office meetings in Cheboygan, MI. Job Type: Full-time, W-2. Compensation:
Starting at $20/hour + commission + performance bonuses.

Shane David Roofing is a veteran-owned roofing company serving homeowners and businesses across Northern Michigan. As we continue to grow, we are hiring sales professionals who want to build a long-term career in home services.

We are seeking a motivated Field Sales Representative to generate and close roofing projects through in-person consultations. This is a relationship-driven, consultative sales role for someone who is confident with customers, disciplined with follow-up, and focused on results.

• Conduct in-home and on-site sales appointments for roofing and exterior services
• Build rapport with homeowners and business owners; understand needs and project priorities
• Perform basic exterior assessments and gather details needed to develop recommendations
• Present solutions clearly, answer questions, and guide customers to confident decisions
• Prepare and present proposals, follow up consistently, and close sales opportunities
• Manage your territory schedule and daily appointments professionally
• Maintain accurate customer records and pipeline activity in company systems
• Coordinate smooth project handoff after sale and support customer communication as needed

• Experience in field sales, in-home sales, or consultative customer-facing roles preferred
• Strong communication, objection-handling, and closing skills
• Self-motivated, organized, and accountable with strong follow-through
• Professional presence in homes, on job sites, and in office settings
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Comfortable traveling daily throughout Northern Michigan
• Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather and around roof access conditions
