Inside Sales Representative

Job Overview

As an Inside Sales Representative at Crescent Electric Supply Company, you will respond to customer inquiries, close profitable sales orders, and process orders received. You will ensure customer needs are met, follow up on commitments, and communicate with customers and fulfillment staff.

• Respond to customer inquiries and close profitable sales orders.
• Process orders received, ensuring customer needs are met.
• Follow up on commitments and communicate with customers and fulfillment staff.
• Offer add‑on and up‑sell products, and suggest alternatives when products are unavailable.
• Execute sales effort in an ethical and professional manner reflecting the company’s reputation.
• Collaborate with branch personnel to prepare competitive quotations.

Often standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and stooping; occasional sitting, talking, and hearing. Lifting and carrying: continuous 1-20 lbs, frequent 21-50 lbs, occasional 51-100 lbs. Assistance or mechanical device is advised when required.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Sales experience preferred and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
