Job Overview

We are looking to add a new Inside Sales Engineer to our Commercial team to provide dedicated internal sales support and help grow our business.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the full sales cycle – respond to inbound inquiries, qualify leads, prepare accurate quotes and proposals, and identify new opportunities through proactive prospecting and outreach.
  • Build and grow client relationships – support client onboarding and account management, and identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities to drive retention and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally – partner with Sales Engineers, lab operations, and marketing to align on client needs and ensure successful project execution.
  • Maintain CRM and sales documentation – keep lead, activity, and customer data accurate in the Net Suite CRM system, and author client‑facing technical documentation as needed.
  • Support pipeline and strategy development – contribute to sales campaigns, outreach initiatives, process improvements, and performance reporting to increase efficiency and win rates.
  • Stay current on industry knowledge – maintain up‑to‑date understanding of company services, capabilities, and relevant standards (e.g., ISO 11607).
Ideal Candidate
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple detailed tasks with frequently changing priorities.
  • Strong work ethic and enthusiasm to keep the team motivated, ensuring goals are met.
  • Willingness to learn and perform research for future opportunities and networking.
Qualifications
  • 0–5 years’ experience in technical sales, marketing, packaging engineering, or related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (Net Suite) is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

This position is full‑time, salary exempt and commission eligible. The starting salary is $70,000. Benefits include health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance coverage; optional participation in a Health Savings Account, voluntary pet insurance, 401(k) retirement match; paid time off and sick time.
