Temporary Assignment
This position is a temporary role with an assignment duration through the end of December 2026.
Job SummaryProvide excellent sales support to assigned account managers, agents, and employer groups to maintain and grow membership in the assigned territory. Also coordinate renewals, proposals, open enrollment/benefit materials, and the submission and implementation of renewing benefit plans and required reporting.
Essential Functions- Interact with various departments to provide timely and accurate resolution of issues for customers and to facilitate accurate and timely processing of benefits/opportunities and member/group setup.
- Manage assigned book of business by responding to requests promptly and developing and maintaining relationships.
- Assist the Sales Department in maintaining all pertinent information related to field activities that they support.
- Ensure data accuracy during the sales process as it pertains to benefits, compliance, group information, and agent information.
- Educate members, agents, and employers on how the plan works, the data requirements for Request for Proposals, benefits offered, and how to enroll.
- Coordinate renewal packets and open enrollment materials according to specifications.
- Update internal databases, run various reports, and complete/review legal documents to ensure accuracy.
- Associate's Degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- 2 years of relevant experience related to health care benefit plans (e.g., self‑funded, fully-funded employer group).
- Preferred: 2 years of experience servicing agents, employer groups, members, or similar populations.
